When the first flights took off from the deck the morning of January 16, 1991, Everyone of us in CVIC watched the cameras and counted the planes. None of us slept until every plane that left, came back. I remember that we didn't sleep that much throughout the entire war. I served in OZ (intel) division, and we got to know all the pilots. And we prayed for everyone of them as left. God listened, and they all came home.
